Seymour Weinstein is Senior Counsel to the law firm of WeinsteinMurphy. Mr. Weinstein received his Juris Doctor degree, Cum Laude, from Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science with Distinction and Accounting as his major.

Mr. Weinstein is admitted to practice before all the Courts in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section and Elder Law Section, a member of the Monroe County Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Section, and a member of the Estate Planning Council of Rochester.

Mr. Weinstein has been in private practice in Rochester for more than 50 years and is now serving several generations of clients with thoroughness, compassion and distinction, in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning, Administration and Elder (Medicaid) Law.

A native of Penfield, David L. Murphy has over 30 years of experience with plaintiffs' personal injury, medical malpractice and commercial litigation. As a former prosecutor in the Monroe County District Attorney's office, David also handles driving while intoxicated cases (DWI), traffic offenses and criminal matters.

David has tried literally hundreds of criminal and civil cases. This enables him to achieve very satisfactory results for his clients. David has been able to obtain millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients. Examples include:

David graduated from Albany Law School with a Juris Doctor degree after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John Fisher College. He is admitted to practice before all the Courts in the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Monroe County Bar Association, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has lectured at bar association seminars. He has also been a member and former president of the Perinton Chamber of Commerce.

Andrew Randisi is a partner concentrating in the areas of Trusts, Estates and Elder Law for WeinsteinMurphy.

A Rochester native, Andrew attended Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Andrew went on from Le Moyne to attend Villanova University School of Law in Pennsylvania where he was active in the corporate, criminal, and public interest law societies. In three years, Andrew earned not only his law degree, but also his M.B.A. from Villanova University's College of Commerce and Finance.

After graduating, Andrew returned home to the Rochester area and, prior to entering the legal profession, worked as a legal policy researcher for the 2002 Golisano For Governor campaign.

Andrew is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations. He is currently serving as the Chairman of the Elder Law Committee of the County Bar, and as a member of the continuing education planning committee of the Financial Planners Association of Upstate New York.  He is a frequent speaker on Trusts, Estates and Elder Law topics in the community and for the legal profession’s continuing educational courses.

Elizabeth Randisi is an associate attorney with WeinsteinMurphy focusing on Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law. Her practice includes Wills, Trusts, Health Care Proxies, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administrations, Estate Tax Planning and Estate Tax Return Preparation.

Elizabeth attended Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts (www.williams.edu), where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Religion, with a concentration in Women’s and Gender Studies.

Elizabeth then attended Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pennsylvania (www.law.villanova.edu). While in law school, Elizabeth worked in the Villanova Federal Tax Clinic, representing low-income taxpayers in disputes with the IRS, and appearing before the Federal Tax Court in Philadelphia.

Elizabeth is a member of the Monroe County and New York State Bar Associations. She is also a member of as the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys (www.grawa.org), where she is the current Chair of the Trusts and Estates Committee.

Elizabeth does pro bono work with Volunteer Legal Services Project (www.vlsprochester.org) and also represents developmentally disabled individuals in Guardianship proceedings in Surrogate’s Court.
